It's important to load the sets in a balanced manner before going into the sterilizer, otherwise the steam - needed to sterilize the instruments - will leave a wet spot on the packages at the end of the process. Moist breaks the natural barrier between strictly sterile and unsterility. In such case, the package which becomes wet is denied discharge and must be re-done all over again from the point of aseptic wrapping onwards.
